I don't understand the cause and the effect. You messed your nvram for your pixel detection tests, right ? Or the cause of the pixel detection issue was the nvram settings ?
I think I was playing with the video-settings - maybe the pixel-detection would work with one of them, can't remember exactly.
But now restore-palette is crap again ;) -Helmut
