You can test this by setting TERM to something else, or renaming the
terminfo-entry. I have it in /usr/share/terminfo.

ncurses looks at different places anyway.


I think I've found something interesting...
when I run the ncurses test program "demo_defkey" under linux/xterm-color 
it outputs only a single key input when i press an cursor key... :


Keycode 260, name KEY_LEFT


but when I run it under toswin/tw100 demo_defkey shows 2 input keys:

Keycode 27, name ^[
Keycode 68, name D

I think that is the problem somehow...
