Are you suggesting a single distribution with all binaries for all
architectures?

What kind of scripts are you talking about? Shell-scripts?

This is an Atari. IMO there shouldn't be such a thing as a "install
script". You should just be able to drag a folder or unpack an archive
to the boot drive and reboot. Configuration should be done with a
dedicated GEM-application.
