naive look there are only disadvantages.All I can say is that I hate it when I think I've sent an answer to the list when it really went to someone else's mail box. Like just now, when I had to edit the To: field in order not to send the current message to you directly.
I agree: replies should go to the list by default (and no one should send html).
Latest opera has an option reply to list/to sender/to all - that's very comfortable to me.
