[MiNT] Boot in ext2 partition ?

What can I do to make a partition ext2 with a filesystem boot for MiNT.
I have create a partition ext2 with the command line :
mke2fs k:
and I realise a copy of my partition minix to the partition mint with a new
fstab and mtab file in /etc.

The boot is OK but I've not the message :
checking filesystem on drive k.
at the end of boot.

On my fstab file, I have this line :

# linux filesystems
k	/ -	root	wheel	750

bye,

Pascal.
