Why not define a global XaAES key kombination, e.g. CTRL-ALT-K, which
allows to flips through all keytables that were defined in a line like

KEYTABLES="en,gr,es"

in XaAES.cnf?  After start-up, XaAES has then en loaded, one CTRL-ALT-K
switches two gr, the second CTRL-ALT-K switches to es and the third will
switch back to en, round-robin like.  Additionally show a small flag in
the menu bar.
