I tested some different setups now:

1. fvdi started from mint.cnf, no NVDI -> flashing cursor (pixels), display of ttf fonts wrong
2. fvdi in C:/auto before mint.prg, no NVDI -> same as 1.
3. fvdi before NVDI in C:/auto -> screen out of range (wrong res.)
   Perhaps a wrong entry in assign.sys, what must be set there?
4. NVDI before fvdi -> Display of boot-messages stops at "press q to skip fvdi", but boot-process
                       goes on, XaAES starts: NO flashing cursor! But display of ttf fonts is
                       still wrong with all apps i tested (only first word of a line is displayed,
                       TeraDesks fontselector don't show font-previews).

In all (working) cases, XaAES window context-menu hangs the system (need to reboot).
I don't know where these flashing cursors are coming from.
I hope that someone can fix this!
