Porthos is a sometimes handy converter of PDF into either a Calamus page
format, or TIFF. Repeatable bus errors with MiNT
As others has pointed out, Porthos is not a particulary clean program. If
you google a bit you will find lots of references to problems when running
under MiNT.
1.15.12, n_aes, NVDI 5.03 and either WDIALOG or N_DLG054. It may
Running wdialog together with N.AES is a sure way to provoce bus-errors.
Can run plain tos to run Porthos, and reboot into MiNT to use it, but
there must be a better way.
Do you have a debug-version of MiNT and XaAES available? Then you could post
the error messages you get when it crash. Also, enabling memory protection
(if you've not done it already) could catch many errors before they turn
into a bus-error.
