[MiNT] a clean "shutdown" command?

Hello everyone,

Since installing Ext2 partitions, e2fsck always reports them as
"uncleanly mounted, check forced" which I am told is because I
have a "shutdown" command that doesn't call shutdown() to tell
the kernel to close the filesystems and shutdown properly.

Does anyone have a "shutdown" command that does this correctly?

Also, can "shutdown" be symlinked as "halt" and "reboot" to provide
the corresponding response? Thanks.
