IP masquerading (was: Re: [MiNT] up and running again, but MiNTnet buggers)

I am not sure what you mean. Are you saying that Torsten is not interested
because he is making his own version of IP masquerading ?? Or are you
saying that you will distribute your own version of MiNTNet?

At the moment my IP masquerading implementation is largely complete,
although a couple of loose ends with the user interface need tidying up. I
think there are still some bugs, but it largely seems to work reliably as
I have been using it during the last week or two without any problems.

Note that this does IP masquerading at the IP level; programs which
transmit low-level protocol information over a high-level protocol (like
FTP and DCC) will not work. Correcting this requires a much more
complicated level of functionality, which I intend to implement later
(this might take some time). Fortunately, most common services are not
affected by this problem.

BTW, I have some _very provisional_ ideas for an scsi-ethernet adapter
suitable for use on the Atari / MiNTnet (or maybe another sort of ethernet
adapter not using SCSI). This does not mean I am making such an adapter -
but I may do that if the project seems feasible after further
investigation. I am interested in any feedback on this (not just of a
technical nature).

Consequently I am interested in any information on SCSI programming on the
Atari - I have some documentation for something called SCSIDRV, but it is
all in German. Is there any English documentation available?
