#!/ vs. #!\ and such

I think it would be best if MiNT became more and more UN*X-like.
I'm mostly "stealing" things from 386BSD and Linux now in fact.
(Just started trying to port the network library from 386BSD, using
the posix C library manual). What is MiNT based on really? Nothing
or a whole lot of systems? (If less and smaller computers getting
UN*X-like OSes could mean less people go for windows (nt), OS/2 or
something technically not as good.

Just my opinion on the matter.
