[Freemint-list] Samba transfers

I set-up ftp on the linux box and tried to transfer a 261MB file.

ftp failed twice at arounf 181MB so it doesn't look like the same problem
as Samba. I suspect ftp is timing out. A smaller 122MB file transfers ok.

So the ~9MB issue only affects Samba.
