Damn i knew i forgot something ;) Had done that already too some weeks ago.

Just out of curiosity, the major difference there was to use &exec instead of 
just exec for macros like N_BADMAG etc. Does anybody know why this was done? 
That is now incompatible to the systems a.out.h.

It is still usefull, because newer versions of GCC might require also newer 
versions of binutils, especially in cross-environments when the native code 
uses constructs that older versions might not understand.
