OLDTOSFS is a relic. It is no longer needed since FreeMiNT has it's own
FATFS driver.

You are right that MiNT will not be able to boot from an emulated GEMDOS
drive. But that is just because the GEMDOS drive emulation in Hatari
only supports one OS, namely TOS. That is a problem with the emulator,
not the OS.
