With 1-17 I was able to sync my Palm, it usually takes a couple of attempts anyway.
The tty-crnl-stuff hasn't been changed for a long time, so the reason could very well be the stair-patch.
It still doesn't work with 1.19 from 30th Jan.
How could it?If no one comes with a general working solution, I'd suggest to remove all crnl-translation in the kernel and do it in toswin instead for the release.
