[MiNT] Vixie-Cron

Hi,

i posted this a few years ago with no success :-(

(freemint 1-16, 1-17, 1-18-cur, XaAES on Falcon (/CT60/CTPCI))

vixie-cron-3.0.1-1.m68kmint.rpm from sparemint site always shows errormessage
-
pid 178 (crond): BUS ERROR: User PC=21DB916, Address: 15 (basepage=21DA000, text=21DA100, data=2202F88, bss=22038A0)
-
when it tries to execute the "app" listed in /var/spool/cron/root (crontab for root, same as /etc/crontab).
This app don't run then, crond stays active (is not terminated or killed), system is still running
normal.
As this "app" variable is "/usr/bin/run-parts" (a bash-script) by default, i tried

1. bash: >run-parts /etc/cron.hourly
No problem, every executable file in /etc/cron.hourly/ is executed correctly.
2. Edited "app" variable in /var/spool/cron/root from "run-parts" to "uptime" (without additional parameters):
   Error, same as above.

File owner and -permissions for crond are set like noted in /usr/doc/vixie-cron.../readme.mint.
crond starts from bash without problems, error occures only when "the time of a task has come"
like set in crontab. Timesettings in crontab are executed correct, so i think it's definetly a bug
in crond/the way it launches programs.

Can anybody fix this (or at least confirm this behaviour on other Ataris/Firebee)?
It would be nice to have cron running on MiNT...

Regards,
Lars
