About frozen mouse-pointer I really have no clue - must be VDI-related,
maybe a bootlog can tell but it is not very likely that it can easily be
fixed.
But your cnf seems to uncover some more bugs: When I press Ctrl-Alt-Q it
crashes, because I don't have your shutdown.app and the ALERT in the
kernel seems buggy.
Attached is my bootlog. I thought it might be a problem caused by
Maccel but booting without it didn't fix the stuck mouse pointer
when restarting XaAES.
This bootlog only contains translation-error-messages:
Loading system resource file 'xaaes009.rsc'
xaaes_sysfile: check if '\d\MINT\1-18-CUR\XAAES\xaaes009.rsc' exists -
return = 0
open lang-file '\d\MINT\1-18-CUR\XAAES\xaaes009.rsl'
530:'Cancel ' skipped (input= Cancel )
...
Current is xaaes014.rsc. How come it loads xaaes009.rsc? Anyway you should
delete any rsl-files or set rsc_lang=0.
This file is of no help for your mouse-issue!
I'd suggest to disable everything and only run XaAES, then restart and see
if it works - if not: :-/
I also noticed that the XaAES menu says 1.1.17, is this right ?
That's right.
