Hi,
OK this is a bit silly, but should GEM apps that are only to be used
with mint be placed in a particular folder, such as opt (as I read
that linux does) or somewhere else? Do we have some kind of standard
for this?
Thanks
CFLIB is placed into /usr/GEM and it's subdirectories....
I have /usr/gem - you can symlink from the apps' home there, and no need to copy everything (with XaAES).

You mean I can have symbolic links to where the executable resides? Basically have a folder that only has icons of the executables in it? Sorry, but i never used symlinks... :/
