because the sources are available for anyone to look at, and the fact
that there are a lot of programmers around atm, it is a perfect time
to make sure that systems like LDG are updated to be more stable.
There will continue to be a certain amount of problem with any
programs not linked against new libraries. Maybe an updated library is
enough for more software to be updated or made available in source
form..
