Wow, I complain because Cygwin is slow, but there are much slower 
systems =-O

You (and Keith and others) should be given a medal for compiling stuff 
in such conditions.
Fortunately, you have a clean MiNT patch which works out of the box :-)

One question: do you suffer from the malloc() bug on Gentoo when running 
such long compilations ?
