I checked the header files in the source code for gcc 2.95.3 for M68k
systems (gcc/config/m68k).  MiNT is naturally not there because it is an
unsupported port (yet) but all systems have __HAVE_68881__ defined in
the presence of the -m68881 option.  Some systems even have it defined
per default unless the -msoft-float option is present.

My conclusion:  gcc 2.95.3 on MiNT is broken and needs mending.
