In fact, it's not needed. Additional debug symbols are harmless if you
remove them from final executable. As Vincent said, this has no
additional side effects, speed and size of the code is the same.

Yes, it's only temporary hack. This should come (or not) from
mentioned header file. If it produces an error, you must look for
cause, not to make workaround for checking it :)
