I don't have any Atari at hand ATM, but isn't there /kern/cpu?

I have all these files but they are 0 bytes.

meminfo

sysdir

uptime
version
welcome

cat /kern/welcome works fine, but if I attempt to open this file with e.g. qed it appears to be empty.
