I have seen this quiet a few times with XaAES. The mouse
can vanish after running some apps or having a problem and
there is no way to make it visible again.

The pointer still works but it cannot be seen.

Perhaps Ctrl-Alt-L should always restore the pointer ?

I was just trying Scumm-VM 1.1.1 and it made the pointer vanish.
