I think MiNT needs some changes to be run from a floppy. Last time I tried
it with Hatari, it refused to boot from anything else than HD.

ACSI is not an option? EmuTOS supports that and DOS partition tables
natively. (Maybe you could add IDE support to EmuTOS?)
