What/where is sysdir defined ?

I found a log in C:\MINT\1-16-CUR\XAAES\XA_BOOT.LOG

At first it looks like it hasn't been updated since
Date: May  6 2007, time: 20:02:20  but that is just
the date of Harald Siegmunds NKCC.
