vim: while typing text, the color of the text sometimes change. It stills
even when returning to the shell. The antidote is "tput reset" at bash prompt.
Mabe rebuilding/upgrading ncurses and/or vim could fix that ?
No problem while running MiNT vim from PutTY through OpenSSH ;-)
