[MiNT] MiNT--missing a drive

Hello

I once had enough external drives to make the last drive Drive N.
That drive is no longer there, it is not in the drive list of Newdesk or any desktop, and still MiNT is certain I have a drive N, stops booting at a # prompt, and asks me to fix drive N and reboot. HHdriver has been reconfigured. Version 8.04.

There are work-arounds. I can type login, run init, manually start N_AES, manually start gluestik, and I am off and running. But every time I do a cold boot, MiNT thinks that it is missing a Drive N.

I do not think this can be solved by upgrading from 1.15.12, since I have never seen a report on this feature.

Any ideas?

Jim
