See previous osts by myself and Kellis, over the last few months.
_Many_ applications don't like FATFS _and_ ext2, probably because
they are processed through the same "new and improved generic XFS
interface."

MiNT 1.15.5 and N.AES 2.0 both say your assumptions on my
configuration are wrong.  Besides, if an application stops
working when running over a kernel without any TOSFS, the 
cause _is_ rather clear:  missing TOSFS.

But it still needs MetaDOS to support audio CD; it is _not_
a completely standalone XFS.
