No, as the tool report the error you must solve the reason for the error.
The tool is not the reason, the tool only report the failure.

Then please don't use the gcc I compiled and other stuff that doesn't
match your choices.

There are no hardcoded paths except the configured relocation paths. And
the relocation is documented.
