[MiNT] TT self-cure

Hi,

don't ask me why, don't try to explain it:  I haven't touched the TT for a
couple of days.  It works again.

However, the external HD needed a little kick (yes, a kick) to start
spinning and I don't trust it a lot.  I will try to back up as much as
possible from it before I proceed.
