With notable point that only this extention matters in the /proc directory
searches (just a clarification).

Martin, you shouldn't trust Compendium so completely, it has *a lot* of
mistakes, inconsistencies and misinformation, even after incorporating the
errata. After I did the newbie MiNT doc (I have updated it recently to
about 115 k of text, with notable miss of a Net section) I am playing with
idea of doing a MiNT dev toolkit, incorporating either documentation,
header files and example programs. But I am not yet sure that i'll be able
to do it alone. I'll try to start anyways.
