Because INIT should always run in ST-RAM, otherwise it crashes
the AES (when loaded from ttytab) 9 times out of 10. Wether I
boot with or without Wdialog makes _NO_ difference; I tried it
either ways; same result. Disabling "run in TT-RAM" fixed INIT.
Currently, my main bug is renaming a file in FNRAMFS crashes
Thing, then the AES, then the kernel. Hopefully, version 0.59
fixes this.
Otherwise, NetTools (ifconfig, route, etc.) seem to expect to
be run specifically from /usr/etc even though I cannot find a
damn hard-coded path in any of the sources, which means these
cannot operate from /sbin or /usr/sbin as expected, even after
I recompile them.
Therefore, Network currently doesn't work.
What works (after recompiling or straight out of the box):
cron
syslog
MiNTOS (whole package: init, getty, vcons, etc.)
GNU utils
GCC (Q: where does it expect to find the "specs" file, though?)
Apache
To-do list:
Man
sendmail
procmail
pppd
toswinII (still writes to /etc/utmp instead of /var/run/utmp...)
...probably other things I cannot think of right now.
