The burba is now gone (!), now it behaves the same with or without mint.cnf
present. Here's the output as it appears with the precompiled kernel:
(Greeting)
ST-ESCC extension detected
Memory protection disabled
Initializing core memory
3782774 bytes of ST RAM, 33186688 bytes of Fast RAM found

Reading '\multitos\mint.cnf' ... 2652 bytes done
pid 1 (GEM): BUS ERROR: User PC=0, Address: 102BAB6 (basepage=10839C0, text=1)
exit code: 2560
leaving MiNT
Unless I press down the CONTROL-key my TT will now crash, but this is "normal"
when using HD-Driver 7.12 (2.06 and 3.06 crash when it tries to load newdesk.inf).
I wonder why MiNT detects an ESCC in my TT? Could this be (a part of) the problem?
With SOCKDEV.XDD installed I get the following messages in addition to the above:
MiNT-Net 1.0 PL 1, beta
(w) 1993-96, Kay Roemer
Loading interfaces:
pid 2 (sld): BUS ERROR: User PC=0, Address: 11A82AA (basepage=52940, text=122)
SLIP v0.5, 4 channels
PPP v0.5, 4 channels
PLIP v0.7, one channel
MiNT will now simply halt after displaying the "Reading mint.cnf..."-message, I get
no error-messages, exit code or anything. I can't reset the TT, not even the reset-
button works (I get a black screen with sync-problems) and I have to switch it off
and on.

Forgot to mention that this is the swedish version.

It *could* be that MiNT crash when it tries to launch this, but since I have the
exact same problems without mint.cnf as well I really don't think so. Perhaps
there is a problem when it tries to start *any* AES?
I will continue to test this version on my TT and post my results here, hopefully
somebody will be able to figure out what's wrong.
