I had same effect when I started AES directly from MINT.CNF (normally it
is started from login here and everything worked fine). The crashes
stopped occurring when I moved the AES executable from Minix FS to FATFS
(partition C). It seems that these are memory management problems
(realloc_region() fails) additionally related to loadable filesystems.
Very weird.
