[MiNT] Lost and found (files)...

Okay, a couple of times in the last few months since I've installed
Mint, I had the dread "FILESYSTEM HAS BEEN MODIFIED" error come up.
Well, thanks to K.Ellis, I know what to do about it (fsck) and what
usually causes it (not shutting down properly-open files). I've got
another question now though. These "orphaned" files are put in the
Lost and Found directory, right? So...I've now got a few in there,
making up about 300K. Is it safe to delete these files, or do they
serve a purpose? Thanks again! ;-)
