'Deadly worth porting' program

Hi,

thanks for all the advices I've got so far. I'll try them when I'll be
back home today. There's yet another reason for the gas to complain about
'my' asm module, and the reason I could forget it is that I woke up at 4
am today and worked on this port up to 6am. That's not my best time of day
for thinking :))

Namely, the gas can dislike the module because of CR/LF line endings, as I
had processed the original file with asmtrans.ttp. :> Just when I got to
my workplace here, I recalled this problem. That may be the reason for
'strange' behaviour like refusing FMOVEs. Most of them are just
register-to-register moves and they're supported by 68882 as I understood
from MC68882 manual I've referenced to.

And what is the program. No, it's not ShapeShifter, though I wouldn't mind
to port it. Sadly, its author hasn't answered any mails and I hear he's
moved to BeBox and stuff, abandoning Amiga and ShapeShifter itself. And
no, it's not a Doom. The program I am trying to port is small, but useful
for me and I think may be useful for several of us.

Its musicin (mpeg audio encoder) version, where the most critical parts,
including FFT, are written in pure 68030/68882 assembler. It seems it may
be even up to three times faster, than the original Unix source we have
now, and can be made yet faster, just I have to compile, run and test this
version first.......
