Re: MiNT UUCP, cnews, etc

In article <9410241559.af03500@ncrhub1.ncr.com> you write:

ok MiNT 1.11h2 diffs are here :) mail?

i only have something for cnews-xt 1.3 (ftp.fu-berlin.de, or ask archie)
thats the one with automatic expire on low-space, rnews with built-in
zcat/gunzip/freeze -d... (haven't looked at the recent cleanup release yet)

benni? :) (and btw any news about strn?)

i have somewhat older diffs for elm 2.3... (still not got around
installing 2.4 yet but i've seen the binaries for ftp...)

yes you need something that elm, uuxqt etc. can call to mail you and
at least queue rmail jobs for outgoing stuff like e.g. smail, sendmail...
if you don't need real smtp or fancy header rewriting you can get away
with an old hack of smail 2.5 (thats what i use, `small is beautiful')
otherwise have a look at the latest smail 3.1.*, or maybe sendmail 8...
(what are others using?)

more later i hope... *sigh* :)
